    Cannondale BB30a bottom bracket system applies a 73mm wide Asymmetric (extra width on non-drive side) bottom bracket shell with an inner diameter of 42mm. The BB30a system is very similar to the BB30 standard, but the frame bottom bracket shell is 5mm wider on the non-drive side. If you are aiming to run 30mm spindle cranks, this bottom bracket will be the right one to fit.

  • AITA Bottom Bracket Specifications

    AITA BB30a ceramic bottom bracket works on BB30a standard frame with 30mm spindle crankset.

    With the grade 3 Si3N4 ceramic balls (8 times rounder and 4 times smoother than the steel's), spinning on the hardened ABEC 7 races, AITA's ceramic bearings run much smoother than most of the bearings in the market and only consume 20% of the power compared with the steel bearing, plus the bearings will last 3-5 times longer.
