HSC Ceramics is a 100% Australian-owned ceramic bearing brand, rooted in the 1990s.
 
They source their parts from Japan, Germany, and China and make a very unique blended grease for their own ceramic bearings. Their bottom bracket are assembled in the western part of Melbourne and have been used and loved by local cyclists for over 20 years.

  • BB65 bottom bracket is LOOK's own bottom bracket standard which is designed to work with their oversized carbon-fibre cranks. The BB65 standard refers to the inner diameter (65mm) of the bottom bracket shell on several LOOK frames, and it is compatible with LOOK ZED series cranks (50mm spindle).

  • AITA BB65 ceramic bottom bracket is designed by LOOK for its 65mm ID frame shell and run LOOK ZED series 50mm spindle cranks. The BB65 ceramic bottom bracket comes with a pair of 6810 AITA hybrid ceramic bearings. These BB65 hybrid ceramic bearings are built with Grade 3 Si3N4 ceramic balls and ABEC7 hardened steel races.

    With the Grade 3 Si3N4 ceramic balls (8 times rounder and 4 times smoother than the steel's), spinning on the hardened ABEC 7 races, this ceramic bottom bracket only consumes 20% of the power compared with a steel bearing bottom bracket on average, plus the bearings will last 3-5 times longer.
