PF30a-24 ceramic bottom bracket converts Cannondale PF30a 73mm width frame to accept Shimano 24mm cranks.

Cannondale's new PF30a standard was released in 2016. The PF30a is similar to the PF30 standard, but the frame BB shell is 5mm wider on the non-drive side to make the total width from 68mm to 73mm.

This conversion bottom bracket is in an integrated unit to allow a Shimano/FSA 24mm crankset to run on a Cannondale PF30a frame without any additional adapters or spacers.

With the Grade 3 Si3N4 ceramic balls (8 times rounder and 4 times smoother than the steel's), spinning on the hardened ABEC 7 races, AITA's ceramic bearings run much smoother than most of the bearings in the market and only consume 20% of the power compared with the steel bearing, plus the bearings will last 3-5 times longer.
